Posting Schedule Update

Hello All,

Just a quick update to announce a new, more consistent posting schedule for the future and what that will entail. As you may have noticed, my output of reviews has declined somewhat post-New Years. There have been many reasons for that, but I am slowly starting to come back to a place where I am enjoying writing reviews again and as such, I’m going to put an actual posting schedule in place going forward to establish a consistency that wasn’t present before and a little more diversity as well.

Going forward there will be three posts per week, each one covering a different type of content.

  • Monday – Reviews: A review of a film, tv show, or anime.

At the start of the week, I will be posting a review of a film, tv show or anime show that I’ve recently watched. They may be brand new theatrical / streaming releases or just something I’ve watched throughout the previous week that’s new to me. I’ll also be changing how I cover tv shows / anime shows. I will not be doing episodic reviews anymore and instead will be covering a shows season in its entirety.

  • Wednesday – Recommendations: Recommendations of classic film, tv show, or anime.

Mid-week post will cover classic films, tv shows and anime that I consider worth the watch. This is something many people have asked me to do, so they can refer to the website for something good to watch, especially considering the particularly poor quality of new films / tv shows in recent years.

  • Friday – Side Notes: An article covering subjects that I’m interested in.

End of week post is something I have wanted to do for quite a while. Side Notes will be a weekly article covering whatever subject interests me on that particular week. I already have several ideas for articles such as examining current states of mega franchises that are now in decline, the effects of woke culture on the film industry and other more nerdy things.

This new schedule will come into effect from Monday the 6th of April and will be in operation from that day forward. If you have anything you want me to watch for a review, recommendation or even an idea for a Side Notes article let me know and I’ll gladly have a go at it. I hope this makes for a more enjoyable experience for everyone going forward.

Signing off for now,
